A. divergens Pax in Bot. Jahrb. 7: 234 (1886).
  Shrub or small tree. Branches light brown, smooth and lustrous, arched. Leaf blades 3-5-lobed to⅓- ½,2-3.5 x 3-5 cm, lobes triangular-acute, entire, glabrous on both sides, dark green above, light green and reticulate-veined beneath; petiole glabrous, 2-3 cm, lactiferous. Flowers in small, erect, glabrous corymbs. Fruit wings '12-22 x 7-10 mm, widely divaricate (angle between the outside edges of the wings 120-140°); nutlets rounded, compressed, glabrous; loculus glabrous.
