  Perennial with erect, slender and tortuous stems. Leaves linear-oblanceolate, acute, 15-25 x 1-2 mm, indumentum silvery. Cauline leaves increasing in size upwards. Petals pale lemon yellow, entire, obovate, 4-5.5 x 2-3(-3.5) mm. Fruits2-3.5 mm long and wide, orbicular, deeply emarginate, indumentum ± sparse, of strongly punctate hairs. Styles 1.5-2 mm. Seeds wingless or narrowly winged. Fl. 5-6. Igneous rocky slopes, 700-1200 m.

  Endemic; allied to A. armenum. Originally placed in Sect. Odontarrhena by Nyârâdy. However, as there are 2 ovules in each loculus (frequently only one developing into a seed) it may be referred to Sect. Alyssum.
