B. auriculata Hausskn. ex Bornm. in Mag. Bot. Lap. 30: 55 (1931).
Perennial herb. Stems c. 30 cm, branched, erect. Basal leaves long-petiolate with orbicular to ovate terminal leaflets. Lower leaves with a large terminal leaflet and 1-2 pairs of lateral leaflets, and distant, semi-amplexicaul auricles, larger than the lateral leaflets. Stem leaves entire or repand-dentate to lobed, with large auricles. Petals white (but see below) or yellow, 6-8 mm. Siliquae strict, torulose, 15-20 x 0.5-1 mm. Style c. 3 mm. 2 varieties may be distinguished:

1. Stems retrorsely hispid-setose below var. paludosa

Type: [Turkey B7 Erzincan] Armenia Turcica: Egin (ad fluvium Euphratem) ad Argubaschi, Habenus Erek, 3 vi 1890, Sintenis 2460 (K!).
Endemic; known only from the type-gathering. In the original description, Bornmüller describes the flowers as white, but the flowers of most species of the genus, though yellow when living, dry white, and it may be that this species is really yellow-flowered.
